Terms of service

The service

MT-CalSync synchronizes calendar events between Microsoft 365 and Google Calendar accounts that you connect. You keep full ownership of your calendar data; we act only on your instructions (the sync pairs you configure).

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for the calendars you choose to connect, including making sure you're allowed to sync them (for example, under your employer's policies). One person per account.

Billing

• New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No payment method is required to start, and nothing is charged unless you add one.
• Paid plans bill in advance, monthly or annually, to the card on file. You can cancel any time; syncing continues until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't offer partial-period refunds, but if something's gone wrong, write to us and we'll be reasonable.
• If a charge fails we retry over several days and email you; continued failure pauses syncing until the payment method is updated.

Fair use

The plan includes up to 10 synced calendars, a deliberately generous ceiling for personal use. If you need more, contact us rather than working around it.

Service expectations

We aim for changes to propagate within minutes and run a daily reconciliation, but calendar providers throttle, hiccup, and occasionally reject writes. MT-CalSync is provided "as is", without warranty; to the maximum extent permitted by law our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Don't rely on the service for life-safety scheduling.

The open-source engine is licensed separately

MT-CalSync's sync engine is published under the AGPL-3.0. These terms cover the hosted service you are signing up for; the licence in the public repository covers the software itself, and nothing here restricts the rights it grants you.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law, to access calendars you aren't authorized to access, or to attack the service itself. We may suspend accounts that do.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means acceptance.
